Boys Becoming Great Men (BBGM) Mentoring Program, a project of the Center for Creative Life and Learning, Inc. is currently enrolling boys age of 10-14. Men leaders of various professional backgrounds and sport disciplines lead the mentoring program.

Our mission is to help boys develop life skills, good character, build leadership capacity, achieve academically, know their value, and be successful in life.

Mentors meets with boys several times a month with planned activities. Program begins Sept 2023 from 12-2PM.

Location: Harriet Tubman Cultural Center, 8045 Hariett Tubman Ln, Columbia, Maryland 21044.

You Can Read Program

You Can Read Program is a Howard County funded reading proficiency program for students experiencing reading proficiency problems. Classes begin Saturday, February 11, 2023, thru September 2023 from 1-3PM except for holiday weekends.

You Can Read Program is a unique and innovative reading program designed to improve students reading, comprehension, listening, speaking skills and reading levels. The program uses a variety of creative art forms, digital learning experiences, and phonological methods/strategies to inspire students to find joy in reading. These services are available to all students regardless of gender, ethnicity, race, or religion.

Registration is required. There is no cost to participants. You may register for a nominal fee of $10 online at cclalinc.org or girlsonfiremd.com. For additional information, you may contact us at 667-289-6782.
