WELCOME ! 

My Name is Jocelyn Whitfield. I am the CEO/ Director of the Center for Creative Life and Learning, Inc. and its Girls on Fire Mentoring and Leadership and the Boys Becoming Great Men Mentoring Programs.

I have 30 years of experience,  developing,  strengthening, building the capacities of community organizations  and governmental programs.  As I traveled the United States for over 20 years seeing the plight of underserved families and children, I decided to take my knowledge and skills  and begab the journey of establishing community  programs  to benefit and empower the lives of  women and children. Our  work began in Howard County and  expanded to Baltimore City and County. Since 2014, we have served over 300  youth and families. 

Our aim is provide support to youth so they can  reach their full potential and be successful in life. And at the same time  support families needing our help. We believe every child has a seed of greatness within them and it our responsibility to  helphem realize their leadership potential.

It takes money and human resources to sustain these vital services to  provide the  essential tools, knowledge and skills to help them be a success in life.  To accomplish as much as we have, my Board and I have utilized our financial resources,  donations, small grants to keep the work going.  However now we find ourselves  in  need of your help as never before.  We have a waiting list of students ftom 2023. We ask you to help us  support us financially.   All donations are welcomed.  We also ask tyou to become a volunteer or a mentor.
