Welcome!
I’m Jocelyn Whitfield, CEO and Director of the Center for Creative Life and Learning, Inc., home to the Girls on Fire and Boys Becoming Great Men mentoring programs. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Maryland.
With 30 years of experience supporting community and government programs, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges faced by underserved families across the U.S. This inspired me to dedicate my life to empowering marginalized women and children through positive youth development and parental engagement.
Since 2014, we’ve served over 400 youth and families in Howard County, Baltimore City, and Baltimore County. Our mission is to help young people realize their potential and support families in need.
We believe every child has a seed of greatness, and it’s our duty to nurture it. To sustain our work, we rely on donations, grants, and volunteers. Now, with a growing waiting list, we need your help more than ever. Every donation is tax-deductible and deeply appreciated.
Please consider donating, volunteering, or becoming a mentor. Together, we can make a lasting difference.
Thank you for your support,
Jocelyn Whitfield, CEO
