I’m Jocelyn Whitfield, CEO and Director of the Center for Creative Life and Learning, Inc., home to the Girls on Fire and Boys Becoming Great Men (BBGM) mentoring programs.
With 30 years of experience supporting community and government programs, I have first hand knowledge of the challenges faced by poor and underserved families across the U.S.
This inspired us, the Board and myself to use our resources to make a difference in the lives of children and families. First by establishing a transitional housing project for women and children with the mission is to help young people realize their potential and support families in need. As a result, we have served over 400 youth.
We believe every child has a seed of greatness, and it’s our duty to nurture it.
To sustain our work, we rely on donations, grants, and volunteers. Now, with a growing waiting list, we need your help more than ever. Every donation is tax-deductible and deeply appreciated.
Please consider donating, volunteering, or becoming a mentor. Together, we can make a lasting difference.
Thank you for your support,
Jocelyn Whitfield, CEO
