Boys Becoming Great Men (BBGM) Mentoring Program

Mentoring and Leadership Development Program for Boys (Ages 10–14)
Registration closes August 6, 2025

BBGM supports boys ages 10–15 as they transition into manhood, providing tools to build self-esteem, confidence, character, integrity, academic success, and emotional well-being.

• Mentoring Groups: Boys are placed in age-appropriate groups to address their unique needs.
• Saturday Programs: All sessions are held on Saturdays to avoid conflicts with school.
• Parental Involvement: Parents must attend the Meet and Greet Orientation on August 15, 2026, to complete enrollment process.

Time: 11AM-1:30 PM  at the Columbia Art Center. 

Attendance at the Parent Meet and Greet is required for all parents.

For Students Ages 14–22

Students gain practical knowledge of government operations, policy-making, and legislation. They learn how to influence policies that affect them, participate in campaigns, and may visit county, state, and federal legislative offices or attend legislative sessions.

Support Groups are held  on Saturdays twice a month. Registration  is required. Professional counselors  and MSW Clinical Social Workers facilitate  group sessions. Students are given the opportunity to share their challenges, and receive tools to navigate through them. They also find a safe place to voice their concerns among their peers.
